New York City Sees Record Voter Turnout Ahead of Election Day

As of 6 p.m. on November 6, 2024, over 2 million New Yorkers have cast their votes, according to the city Board of Elections. The total ballot count reached 2,195,863, which includes early voting.

Brooklyn led the boroughs with 685,610 votes, while Queens and Manhattan followed with 552,712 and 504,053 votes, respectively. The Bronx recorded 288,364 votes, and Staten Island had 165,124 ballots by the same time.
