Boeing and Union Reach Tentative Agreement to End Strike Affecting 33,000 Workers

Boeing Co. has reached a tentative agreement with union leaders representing 33,000 striking workers in an effort to resolve a prolonged labor dispute that has significantly impacted the company's commercial airplane manufacturing.

The proposed contract includes a guaranteed wage increase of 38% over four years and a $12,000 signing bonus upon ratification, according to a statement from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.

The new offer will be presented to more than 30,000 union workers, who will vote on whether to accept or reject the agreement on Monday.
