The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 will take place from March 3 to 6, marking its return to Montjuïc for the first time since the pandemic. Organized by GSMA, the event will focus on practical applications of 5G and AI, aiming to surpass last year's 101,000 attendees and generate an economic impact of €550 million.

MWC 2025 will span both Fira Gran Via and Plaza España, reflecting post-pandemic growth. A new Talent Arena at Fira Montjuïc will connect digital professionals with companies, while the 4YFN startup event expands across two floors. CEO John Hoffman envisions this as the largest edition yet in terms of space, emphasizing plans to launch Hall Zero by 2027.

Keynote speakers include leaders from B-Team, Time, Agility Robotics, Lenovo, and tech veterans like Steve Wozniak. Discussions will highlight AI’s real-world impact, integrating 5G, big data, IoT, and AI. Notable attractions include remote-controlled vehicles, advanced robotics, and possibly a flying taxi, signaling a return to the industry’s disruptive energy.
