Adobe Enhances Premiere Pro with AI-Powered Media Intelligence and Caption Translation

Editado por: Veronika Nazarova

Adobe has introduced significant updates to Premiere Pro, including Media Intelligence and Caption Translation, now in beta. Media Intelligence leverages AI to tag content, allowing editors to perform natural language searches for objects, locations, camera angles, and metadata directly within the software. This feature currently supports English and operates locally, ensuring that all content remains on the editor's device without contributing to AI training.

In addition, the Caption Translation feature enables native caption translation in 17 languages, requiring an internet connection to process translations in the cloud. These updates enhance Adobe's commitment to integrating AI into its Creative Cloud suite, following previous innovations like Firefly AI features that allow for clip extension and object manipulation.

Moreover, Adobe has rolled out smaller updates for After Effects, including improved caching for instant playback and enhanced HDR support, alongside new Camera To Cloud capabilities for Frame.io, supporting Canon EOS C80 and C400 cameras.
