TELUS has unveiled its PureFibre Internet service in Ontario and Quebec, providing residents with access to the fastest internet technology in Canada. With download speeds of 1.5 Gbps and upload speeds of 1.0 Gbps, the service promises seamless video calls, gaming, and 4K streaming, even during peak usage times.
This high-speed connectivity is supported by a 100% fibre-to-the-home network and includes exclusive bundling options with TELUS mobility, SmartHome Security, and Stream+ services. According to Zainul Mawji, Executive Vice-president and President of TELUS Consumer Solutions, this expansion will empower communities and enhance the digital experience for customers.
The service features next-generation Wi-Fi 6 technology, ensuring faster speeds without lag, even with multiple devices connected. TELUS plans to extend PureFibre Internet to more regions, including the Atlantic provinces, enhancing connectivity across Eastern Canada.
