Apple has officially launched its new AI-powered features, named Apple Intelligence, in the UK, providing users with tools previously available only in the US.
The update includes an enhanced version of Siri, writing assistance for emails and texts, and notification summaries to streamline message chains. Additionally, users can create AI-generated images of friends and request new emoji designs.
Some features, such as a fully revamped Siri that utilizes personal context for responses, remain unavailable. The rollout coincides with the launch of iOS 18.2 and updates for iPads and Macs, which can now be downloaded via the Settings app.
These AI features are exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models, as well as most modern Macs and iPads. The staggered global rollout aims to localize tools for different regions, with some delays in Europe attributed to regulatory challenges. Apple plans to expand the availability of these features in various languages and regions next year.
