CHICAGO, Sept. 26, 2024 – Mondelez International has unveiled a new platform aimed at enhancing its global marketing capabilities through artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI (gen AI). Developed in collaboration with Accenture and Publicis Groupe, this platform will enable faster and more efficient creation of personalized marketing content.
Jon Halvorson, Senior Vice President at Mondelez, stated, "Harnessing the power of gen AI will empower our people to play a proactive role in how our brands show up in the market." The initiative aims to improve consumer engagement by delivering on-trend creative content securely and with brand integrity.
Accenture will assist Mondelez in scaling the platform, focusing on employee training and adoption, while Publicis Groupe will lead the execution and development of the gen AI foundation for creative assets. The platform will be designed with ethical AI principles to ensure responsible use.
Venky Rao from Accenture emphasized that Mondelez marketers will leverage data and AI to enhance innovation and personalization across consumer touchpoints.
