Tether Invests in Zengo Wallet Amid Regulatory Scrutiny of USDt in Europe

On February 11, Tether, the issuer of USDt, announced a strategic investment in Zengo Wallet, a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet. The undisclosed investment aims to enhance Zengo's capabilities to support Tether's stablecoins across major blockchain ecosystems. According to the announcement, Zengo, launched in 2019, has served over 1.5 million users globally without any reported hacks or phishing incidents.
