Orange has become the first operator in Poland to offer Wi-Fi 7 technology, enabling home internet speeds of up to 8 Gb/s with the new Funbox 10 device. This service is available in 39 cities, reaching approximately 2.5 million households and businesses.
Wi-Fi 7 represents the latest advancement in wireless connectivity, providing multi-gigabit speeds, stability, and improved performance for users. The Funbox 10 features a 10 Gb/s port and four 1 Gb/s ports, along with eco modes and a casing made from recycled materials.
This upgrade allows users to fully utilize Orange's fastest fiber optic service, which is now available in major cities like Warsaw, Krakow, and Gdansk. The technology is especially beneficial for online gamers, virtual reality applications, and streaming services that require immediate responsiveness. Wi-Fi 7 also addresses the growing demand for performance in smart home networks as the number of connected devices increases.
