The total value of e-commerce transactions in 2023 is estimated at a staggering Rp453.75 trillion.

“For Erajaya Digital, the presence of online channels significantly aids in serving loyal customers who are accustomed to shopping online,” Joy stated. The company operates through its e-commerce platform, Eraspace.com, and has established official stores across various Indonesian platforms.

Despite a global decline in smartphone sales projected for 2024, with sales dropping from $418.08 billion in 2022 to $411.89 billion in 2023, Joy remains optimistic about the Indonesian market. “We see optimism from brand principals releasing new products targeting all consumer segments, which are being welcomed enthusiastically,” he noted. Erajaya Digital ensures that these products are easily accessible through both physical retail and online channels.
