Jameel Motors, a British company, has partnered with Zhejiang Geely Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group to introduce a new line of electric vans in the UK.
The first batch is expected in 2025, featuring advanced technologies that make them intelligent and eco-friendly.
The Farizon SV recently achieved top Euro NCAP ratings, demonstrating its competitive safety standards against European counterparts.
Farizon Auto, a Chinese automaker, focuses on zero emissions and user-friendly technology, pioneering electric commercial vehicles since 2016.
The SV utilizes a "cell-to-pack" battery technology, increasing capacity by 10% without increasing size, resulting in a lighter vehicle with a stiffer frame.
It also features a dual-redundancy drive-by-wire system, enhancing braking, steering precision, and load capacity.
Available in three lengths, three heights, and two battery sizes (67 kWh and 83 kWh), a more powerful 106 kWh option will follow.
Prices and technical specifications are forthcoming, but this configuration is expected to make a significant impact in the UK light commercial vehicle market.
This partnership is part of a broader strategy to introduce Farizon models in additional countries, with more information on pricing to be revealed in early 2025.
