Trump Takes Another Swipe at Meghan Markle, Calls Her 'Terrible' in New York Post Interview

Former President Donald Trump has once again criticized Meghan Markle, calling her "terrible" in a recent interview with the New York Post. The comment came in response to a question about whether Trump would consider kicking Prince Harry out of the country amid ongoing questions about his immigration status.

Trump, who has previously expressed his disapproval of Markle, said he would "leave him alone" but added that "he's got enough problems with his wife." The former president's remarks come amid a legal battle between the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) over Harry's immigration records.

The Heritage Foundation has been pushing to know more about Harry's immigration status and records since the prince admitted to using drugs in the past in his memoir, "Spare." The think tank argues that there's a possibility Harry lied on his forms about his past drug use or received special treatment from the Biden administration to enter the U.S.

The DHS initially declined to release Harry's records, but a judge is currently considering the case. The judge is also considering whether to release part or all of sworn statements from DHS officials on why the agency is fighting the records request.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been vocal critics of Trump in the past. In 2016, Markle called Trump a "misogynist" and "divisive" during an interview with Larry Wilmore. In 2019, Trump dismissed her comments, saying: "I didn't know she was nasty." A year later, he said, "I'm not a fan of her. I wish a lot of luck to Harry, he's going to need it."

In his interview with the New York Post, Trump also expressed his belief that Harry is "whipped" by Markle. However, he did praise Harry's older brother, Prince William, whom he met privately in December 2024 at the reopening ceremony of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
