Achille Lauro: 'Incoscienti Giovani' Is a Song That Doesn't Belong to This Era

Achille Lauro, the Roman singer-songwriter, is a strong contender at this year's Sanremo Music Festival. While "Incoscienti Giovani" may not be the best song in the competition, Lauro has a dedicated fanbase, further amplified by his recent role as a judge on X Factor. The song itself is a hit, exceeding the quality of most of his previous work. However, when asked about winning, Lauro responded, "I don't know if I'd like to win Sanremo, I'd rather do a stadium tour, the biggest ever done in Italy."

Lauro's potential victory could be jeopardized by a recent controversy involving Fabrizio Corona, who, in an attempt to attack Chiara Ferragni, revealed on social media a past relationship between the two, while Ferragni was still married to Fedez.

Lauro, aware of the media's focus on the gossip, responded with a consistent, almost admirable, phrase: "I generally try to leave gossip to those who do it for a living, I'm not interested because I do something else, I still live in the world of dreamers and great passions."

Lauro's main focus has always been on his work, staying away from gossip scandals that have inevitably tarnished, if not completely ruined, Fedez's return to Sanremo. The Roman singer-songwriter, with a strong belief in his current work, believes he finally has a winning song: "'Incoscienti Giovani' is a song that doesn't belong to this era - he says - it mixes sounds from Elvis's 'Can't Help Falling in Love' and the 70s/80s singer-songwriter scene."

Meanwhile, Lauro has already secured a victory: his concerts at the Circus Maximus, rightfully a priority for him, have been extended to two dates: June 29th and July 1st.
