Drone Ban Expanded in New Jersey and New York Amid Mysterious Sightings

Federal aviation authorities have extended a month-long drone ban over New Jersey to parts of New York due to ongoing mysterious overflights. The new restrictions cover parts of Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island, particularly over critical infrastructure sites.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul emphasized that the ban is precautionary, stating, "There are no threats to these sites." The New Jersey ban includes 22 communities, affecting major cities like Camden and Jersey City, citing "special security reasons" after reports of drones near a nuclear facility.

Officials have noted that only authorized drone pilots for national defense or law enforcement can operate in these areas. Despite the bans, speculation continues, with some residents insisting the drones are too sophisticated for hobbyists.

Meanwhile, a U.S. Air Force veteran posted a video of glowing orbs over New Jersey, claiming they exhibited flight patterns inconsistent with known aircraft. This sighting adds to a growing list of UFO reports in the region.

In Virginia, over 150 drone sightings were reported in December alone, with officials urging residents to report any suspicious activities. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security have stated there is no evidence of a national security threat linked to these sightings.
