Apple's M4 MacBook Air Launch Expected Sooner Than Anticipated

Apple Inc. is expected to release its highly anticipated M4 MacBook Air ahead of schedule, according to Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman. The new models, available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, are now anticipated to launch sooner than the previously expected timeframe of January to March 2024.

Gurman noted that the M4 MacBook Air will largely resemble its 2022 predecessors. Additionally, the release of new entry-level iPads, iPhone SE, and refreshed iPad Air models is still slated for spring.

Apple's fiscal fourth-quarter revenue for October 2024 reached $94.9 billion, surpassing analyst expectations. Mac revenue totaled $7.74 billion, a slight increase from $7.61 billion in the previous year, despite a 34% decline in Mac sales compared to the same quarter last year.

Year-to-date, Apple shares have risen by 37.51%, although they dipped by 0.13% in after-hours trading, reaching $254.95.
