Excitement Builds for the Hungarian Darts Trophy in Budapest

The PDC European Tour is set to captivate fans as it hosts the Hungarian Darts Trophy in Budapest from September 20 to 22. This prestigious event will showcase some of the biggest names in the sport, with live coverage available on the MAX4 channel and NET4+ streaming service.

The 11th stop of the PDC European Tour holds a special place in the hearts of local fans, as it takes place in the Hungarian capital. The MVM Dome will be the venue for this thrilling weekend, featuring renowned darts players such as Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, and Michael Smith. Notably, 16-year-old Luke Littler, a rising star in the sport, will also compete alongside defending champion Luke Humphries and last year's Budapest winner Dave Chisnall.

Last year, the event attracted an impressive crowd of 19,000 spectators, and similar enthusiasm is expected this year. Four local competitors—Csóka András, Bezjian Alberto, Jehirszki György, and Végső János—will also be vying for the title. The tournament boasts a total prize fund of £175,000, with the winner set to take home £30,000, making it a highly competitive event.
