Achille Lauro's Sanremo Return: New Song, Family Ties, and Gossip Squashed

Achille Lauro is set to grace the Sanremo stage once again in 2025 with his new song, 'Incoscienti giovani' ('Unconscious Youth'). This marks his fourth participation in the renowned Italian music festival, three years after his last appearance.

Born Lauro De Marinis, the artist, known for his eclectic style, has always maintained a close relationship with his mother, Cristina Zambon, who serves as the CEO of his record label, No Face Agency. His relationship with his father, Nicola de Marinis, a magistrate of the Supreme Court, has been more complex. His father had hoped Lauro would follow in his footsteps in law, but they have reportedly reconciled in recent years.

Lauro's past Sanremo performances have been marked by controversy, including a baptism-like gesture during his 2022 performance of 'Domenica,' which sparked outrage from religious figures. He also made headlines for a kiss with his longtime friend and producer, Boss Doms, in 2020.

Recently, Lauro found himself embroiled in gossip surrounding Chiara Ferragni and Fedez, with rumors of a supposed affair with the digital entrepreneur. Lauro dismissed these claims, stating, "I leave the gossip to those who only have that to exist. I, thank God, still live in the world of dreams and great dreamers."

Adding to the intrigue, recent reports suggest Lauro is now dating Giulia Toscano, the sister of Sarah Toscano, the winner of 'Amici di Maria De Filippi.' While neither has confirmed the relationship, they have been spotted together in Milan.

In an interview, Achille Lauro revealed his passion for combat sports, particularly boxing and Muay Thai, and his dedication to a strict diet. He describes his new song as inspired by a true story, stating, "I find it easier to tell something I have lived and exists rather than invent a story. This is how you can deeply reach people."
