The saga involving Simona Guatieri and Keita Baldé has taken another turn. After Baldé's alleged affair with Wanda Nara, Guatieri, an influencer, has announced her forgiveness of the Monza player.
The story began in 2017 when Guatieri met Baldé, whom she married in 2022. Baldé is alleged to have cheated on Guatieri with Wanda Nara, the former partner of Mauro Icardi, who informed Guatieri of the infidelity.
Guatieri, who has two children with Baldé, spoke about the situation in an interview with FanPage last October, expressing her pain and disappointment. She stated, "A marriage doesn't end because of rumors, especially when newspapers write something and no one denies it." She also admitted the shame she felt, saying, "We had just built a family, I couldn't believe my marriage was ending. I tried to convince myself that everything could go back to normal."
The latest chapter unfolded on the Italian talk show Verissimo, hosted by Silvia Toffanin. Guatieri, while discussing the affair, criticized Wanda Nara, stating, "We are different from them, we have a different morality. If my husband were to publicize what Wanda sent him..." She also revealed that she had taken legal action against Nara and Icardi, claiming they "can't afford to publicize what they want for their own purposes."
Guatieri also shared details about her separation from Baldé, stating, "We separated in April, but our lawyers in court asked us to reconsider for the sake of the children." She then revealed a surprising turn of events, stating that Baldé is currently in Italy "to be close to me."
She added, "The anger has subsided, we are managing to communicate and understand each other. I have forgiven him, and we have even seen each other recently as parents. We even spent New Year's Eve together." Guatieri, however, cautioned, "I don't know if we can really get back together. I am in love with him, but reason sometimes has to prevail. But I think he has understood that he cannot play with feelings."
In a surprising twist, Baldé sent a video message to Guatieri on the show, expressing his regret and asking for forgiveness. He stated, "I made the biggest mistake of my life, with the woman of my life." He also criticized Nara and Icardi, calling them "heartless." He concluded by declaring, "You are the only woman I will ever love," pleading for her forgiveness.
