Qatar is set to establish a permanent national pavilion at the historic Giardini della Biennale in Venice, marking its presence alongside 30 other nations with permanent pavilions. The pavilion's inauguration will coincide with the 19th International Architecture Exhibition in May 2025.

The pavilion will be activated with a major installation, 'Community Centre,' designed by Pakistani architect Yasmeen Lari. This installation is part of the broader exhibition, 'Beyti Beytak. My home is your home. La mia casa è la tua casa.,' which will explore the themes of hospitality and welcome as reflected in the architecture and landscapes of the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia (MENASA) region.

The exhibition will feature works by over 20 modern and contemporary architects from the MENASA region, including pioneers such as Raj Rewal, Nayyar Ali Dada, Abdel Wahed el Wakil, and Minnette de Silva, alongside contemporary designers like Marina Tabassum, Sameep Padora, and Abeer Seikaly. The exhibition, commissioned by H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa and Qatar Museums, is curated by Aurélien Lemonier and Sean Anderson, with the collaboration of Virgile Alexandre. This initiative underscores Qatar's commitment to cultural diplomacy and providing a platform for creative talent from the MENASA region.
