Katy Perry's Lifetimes Tour: UK Dates and Charitable Contributions Announced

Katy Perry, one of the best-selling music artists globally, is set to return to the UK with her highly anticipated The Lifetimes Tour in October 2025. This tour marks her first full UK tour in seven years and will feature five shows across major cities including Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, and London.

The tour kicks off on October 7 at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow and concludes on October 13 at London's O2 Arena. The demand for tickets has already led to additional shows being added in Australia and Mexico, with initial dates selling out rapidly.

In a significant gesture, Perry has pledged to donate £1 from every ticket sold on the UK leg of the tour to the Music Venue Trust, an organization dedicated to protecting grassroots music venues. This initiative aims to support local music scenes and emerging artists, ensuring that venues like Water Rats and Scala can continue to nurture new talent.

Mark Davyd, CEO of Music Venue Trust, expressed gratitude for Perry's support, highlighting the importance of such contributions in maintaining the vibrancy of the grassroots music community. The UK government has also shown support for initiatives that safeguard the future of live music venues.

Perry’s commitment to grassroots music comes alongside her recent recognition at the MTV Video Music Awards, where she received the 2024 Video Vanguard Award and performed a medley of her greatest hits.
