Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - LEAP 2025 commenced with the announcement of over $14.9 billion in investments and projects in the artificial intelligence sector. Minister Abdullah Alswaha highlighted the investments aim to boost digital skills, tech startups, and innovation, aligning with Vision 2030. Key investments include Groq & Aramco Digital's $1.5 billion for AI-powered cloud computing, Alat & Lenovo's $2 billion for an AI and robotics center, and Google's plan to launch a global AI hub in Saudi Arabia. Additional commitments include Alibaba Cloud's AI training program, Databricks' $300 million for PaaS solutions, SambaNova's $140 million for AI infrastructure, KKR & Gulf Data Hub's data center development, Salesforce's $500 million Hyperforce expansion, and Tencent Cloud's $150 million cloud region launch.
