PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) announced a profit attributable to the parent entity of Rp 21.66 trillion for 2024, reflecting a 2.64% increase from Rp 20.9 trillion in the previous year.
According to BNI's performance report, net interest income reached Rp 40.48 trillion, down 1.92% compared to Rp 41.27 trillion in the same period last year. This decline was attributed to interest expenses, which rose by 29.24% to Rp 26.10 trillion.
Additionally, BNI's premium income and investment results amounted to Rp 6.74 trillion, a decrease from Rp 6.85 trillion previously. The bank's credit disbursement for 2024 reached Rp 775.87 trillion, marking an 11.62% increase.
The net non-performing loan (NPL) ratio stood at 0.74%, while the gross NPL decreased to 1.97%. Total assets strengthened by 3.95%, reaching Rp 1,124.80 trillion at the end of 2024, up from Rp 1,086.66 trillion.
