Vietnam is making it easier than ever for travelers from Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic to experience its vibrant culture and stunning landscapes. Starting March 1, 2025, citizens of these countries can visit Vietnam without a visa for tourism purposes, allowing stays of up to 45 days. This visa exemption, valid until December 31, 2025, aims to boost Vietnam's tourism sector and simplify travel for visitors.

Previously, travelers from these countries needed an e-visa for entry, which permitted stays of up to 90 days. The new policy removes this requirement, making short-term visits more convenient. The visa-free entry also applies to tours arranged by international travel service providers in Vietnam.

This expansion builds on Vietnam's existing visa-free program for 13 other countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, Russia, Japan, South Korea, and several Nordic nations. Visitors from these countries can also stay visa-free for up to 45 days.

Vietnam remains a top destination in Southeast Asia. In 2024, the country welcomed over 17.5 million international visitors, a 39.5% increase from 2023. With a goal of attracting 22-23 million tourists in 2025, Vietnam is introducing more visa exemptions to make travel more accessible and boost visitor numbers beyond pre-pandemic levels.
