Maruti Dzire Launches with Strong Demand and Advanced Features

The new Maruti Dzire has quickly gained traction, achieving 30,000 bookings within a month of its launch on November 11. With 5,000 units already delivered, the compact sedan is averaging 1,000 bookings daily, doubling the rate of its predecessor.

Priced between Rs 6.79 lakh and Rs 10.14 lakh (ex-showroom), the higher-spec ZXI and ZXI+ trims have been particularly popular, accounting for over half of total bookings. The ZXI variant features full-LED headlamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, wireless phone charging, and connected car technology. The ZXI+ variant, priced from Rs 9.69 lakh, offers a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen, a premium sound system, sunroof, and a 360-degree camera.

Despite low demand for entry-level variants, the ZXI and ZXI+ trims have a waiting period of about two months for manual transmissions, while automatic versions may take up to three months. All variants come equipped with six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, and a 5-star GNCAP safety rating, enhancing the brand's global image.
