Management positions typically take six months to a year to fill due to higher experience and strategic skills requirements. Winter emphasizes that managerial roles demand specific qualifications beyond prior experience, including change management, strategic leadership, agile methodologies, and adaptability to new technologies.
For supervisory roles, the average placement time ranges from three to six months, influenced by the demand for soft skills like teamwork, time management, creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. Competition for these positions has intensified as professionals seek to advance from operational roles to leadership.
Looking ahead to 2025, Winter notes that global factors, including artificial intelligence (AI) advancements, hybrid work models, and a renewed focus on essential skills, will shape placement trends. He predicts a slight decrease in average placement times, particularly in tech industries prioritizing digitalization, while traditional sectors may experience longer timelines due to heightened competition.
Regarding employment conditions, 51% of surveyed professionals reported equal or better benefits compared to previous jobs, while 42% indicated worse conditions. Winter highlights that Peru's economic growth, though moderate, signals recovery, driven by reduced inflation and increased investment in digitalization and AI.
Notably, significant improvements in benefits are observed in managerial and commercial roles within sectors like services, banking, and insurance, where companies offer incentives beyond salary to attract talent.
