DigiFabster has introduced its AI Quote Agent, aimed at improving the management of Requests for Quotations (RFQs) in manufacturing. The tool automates the extraction of critical details from emails and CAD files, enabling faster and more organized responses.
According to Const Ivanov, Founder of DigiFabster, "Our goal is simple. We want to make quoting less painful. Shops work hard to deliver great results, and the last thing they need is to waste time digging through RFQs." The AI Quote Agent allows businesses to focus on core operations by reducing time spent on administrative tasks.
The platform analyzes the unique geometry of each part, providing tailored quotes based on material requirements and machining needs. This approach incorporates design-for-manufacturing checks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Currently in beta, the AI Quote Agent is designed for specific use cases, including automated identification of materials and technologies from RFQs. Future updates will enhance its capabilities, including a Message Center for centralized communication.
DigiFabster employs AWS and GovCloud ITAR-compliant servers to safeguard sensitive information, ensuring compliance with regulations for ITAR-regulated work.
