Launch of NORBIT-3 Satellite for Radiation Monitoring

The NORBIT-3 satellite, developed at Novosibirsk State University, was successfully launched into orbit on November 5 from the Vostochny Cosmodrome. The launch included 52 other Russian and foreign satellites.

NORBIT-3 will monitor radiation levels in space for Rosgidromet. Additionally, the satellite will test subsystems and flight cycle algorithms as part of the federal project 'Sphere.' Communication with NORBIT-3 has been established, and planned operations are underway, according to Vitaly Prokopyev, head of the Department of Aerospace Research at NSU.
