Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour has made history as the first tour to surpass $2 billion in sales. The December 2024 Boxscore report highlights the dominance of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO), which earned $48.2 million from 581,000 tickets sold across 70 shows in just 30 days. This remarkable feat was achieved through the use of two touring ensembles, allowing TSO to perform multiple shows in different cities simultaneously.
In total, TSO played 110 shows in 2024, generating $69 million, a 1% increase from the previous year, marking its most successful year ever. Since its inception in 1999, TSO has amassed $871.4 million in earnings and sold 15.8 million tickets, with 2,003 concerts under its belt, the highest in Boxscore history.
Out of 41 cities on the December calendar, TSO grossed over $1 million in 21 locations, with two shows in Philadelphia grossing $2.1 million, making it one of only three engagements to exceed the $2 million mark in the group's history.
In the realm of country music, Zach Bryan and George Strait also made headlines.
