American music legend Diana Ross is set to headline the 2025 edition of the THISDAY Awards ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria, on January 27, 2025. This year’s event marks the 30th Anniversary of THISDAY newspaper and the 12th year of Arise News television.
Ross, who first headlined the awards 18 years ago, was spotted at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos with her entourage. Known for her iconic hits such as "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "You Can't Hurry Love," Ross continues to captivate audiences after her successful Las Vegas residency concluded in 2017.
The singer will also kick off her "Celebrating Timeless Classics 2025 Tour" on Valentine's Day in Highland, California, further showcasing her enduring appeal in the music industry.
The red carpet event will be broadcast live on Arise television, starting at 5 pm.
