Andes Líneas Aéreas has announced the resumption of direct charter flights connecting Buenos Aires with Cayo Largo del Sur, Cuba, starting January 2, 2024. This exciting development marks a significant return for regional tourism as travelers can once again explore the beautiful Caribbean destination.

In collaboration with Multitravel, Andes will operate 12 charter flights between January and mid-March 2024, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft that accommodate 189 passengers each. With a total of 2,079 seats available this season, travelers can enjoy weekly flights from Buenos Aires/Ezeiza.

The flight itinerary includes a technical stop in Iquitos, Peru, ensuring a comfortable journey for passengers. Departures from Ezeiza are scheduled at 11:00 PM, arriving in Cayo Largo at 7:35 AM the next day, while return flights will leave at 10:00 AM, landing back in Buenos Aires at 7:55 PM.

This route's revival is particularly important as Cubana de Aviación ceased operations in April 2024 due to fuel supply issues, and Aerolíneas Argentinas previously suspended its flights for economic reasons. Andes Airlines is stepping in to fill this gap, providing vacation packages starting from USD 1,600 per person, depending on hotel category, through Havanatur and Multitravel.

With a fleet of two Boeing 737-800s and extensive experience in charter flights to Bariloche and other destinations, Andes is reaffirming its commitment to international tourism, positioning itself as a key option for travelers eager to enjoy the Caribbean this season.
