Three Dog Breeds to Avoid, According to Expert Handler

Modificato da: Екатерина С.

Professional dog handler Garrett Wing has shared his thoughts on three dog breeds he would "never own" due to their size, smell, and temperament. In a recent video on the American Standard Dog Training YouTube channel, he discussed the disadvantages of these breeds.

The first breed on his list is the Central Asian Shepherd Dog. These dogs are known for their bravery and hardworking nature, originally bred to protect flocks of sheep and goats. However, with fewer flocks around today, their usefulness as guard dogs has diminished.

Next up is the Bloodhound, a large hound bred for hunting deer, wild boars, and rabbits. While they are excellent at tracking scents over long distances, Garrett pointed out that their "oily skin" can lead to unpleasant odors.

Finally, Garrett mentioned the Chihuahua, the smallest dog breed in the world. Known for their frequent barking and tendency to be aggressive towards larger dogs, Chihuahuas can also be challenging to train. Garrett humorously noted that if he needed a "three-pound demon from the underworld," he might consider a Chihuahua.
