Sustainable Real Estate Developments Gain Popularity in Brazil

A recent survey conducted by ABRAINC and Brain Inteligência Estratégica in 2022 revealed a growing preference among consumers for sustainable real estate. Notably, 66% of respondents expressed a willingness to pay more for properties featuring solar energy, while 57% prioritized airy spaces integrated with nature.

Among the leading companies in this sector is Nazca, the first real estate developer in Espírito Santo to receive the Fitwell certification, which emphasizes health and wellness in real estate projects. One of their highlighted projects is Soul For Life, located in Praia do Canto.

Soul For Life is distinguished by its green facade, energy efficiency, water utilization, sustainable materials, green space integration, air quality, and natural lighting. CEO Breno Peixoto noted that the project will feature 34 species of native plants, enhancing the beauty of the development. The green facade will incorporate an automatic irrigation system to prevent water waste.

Additionally, the facade will include an air mattress system that provides acoustic benefits to residents while moderating temperature extremes, thus promoting energy savings.

Another notable project by Nazca with the Fitwell certification is Cyan Ocean Front, located in the revitalized area of Praia da Curva da Jurema and Enseada do Suá. This development merges aesthetics with functionality, offering residences that reflect coastal living with all apartments facing the sea.

According to Peixoto, Cyan Ocean Front features a sophisticated leisure program, including wet-deck pools, massage rooms, gourmet spaces, and communal areas, all designed to enhance relaxation and enjoyment. The project also incorporates rainwater harvesting, drinking fountains in common areas, and automated irrigation for green spaces, underscoring a commitment to sustainability and well-being.
