Saudi Investment Minister's Visit to Pakistan Aims to Strengthen Economic Ties and Sign Agreements

ISLAMABAD, October 10, 2024 - A high-powered delegation from Saudi Arabia, led by Investment Minister Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al Faleh, arrived in Pakistan for a three-day official visit aimed at enhancing trade and investment relations between the two countries.

The delegation was welcomed at Islamabad Airport by key Pakistani officials, including Federal Minister for Board of Investment Abdul Aleem Khan. During the visit, several trade and investment agreements, as well as Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), are expected to be signed.

The Saudi delegation plans to visit the Special Investment and Facilitation Council (SIFC) to discuss potential investments across various sectors. The Pakistani government views this visit as a significant step towards strengthening the longstanding ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, with hopes for fruitful outcomes in mutual business activities.

Additionally, the Saudi Investment Minister is scheduled to meet with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with engaging with the business community in Islamabad.

This visit is anticipated to bolster bilateral business relations and attract further investments from Saudi Arabia into Pakistan.
