B.Y.D. has secured a 10% market share in Portugal's electric vehicle market, becoming the top-selling brand for 100% electric cars. The Chinese automaker saw a 160% increase in sales in January compared to the same period last year, reaching 331 units sold and claiming the third position in the national market.
Tesla, despite selling 389 units, experienced a 29% decline in sales, leading to a decrease in its market share from 22% to 12%. BMW, on the other hand, saw a slight increase of nearly 2% with 331 units sold, securing the second position.
