BMW has introduced the updated M2 in India at an introductory price of Rs 1.03 Crore. This model continues as a 'CBU', maintaining its predecessor's status.
The new M2 features a frameless kidney grille, a three-section intake at the front, and a race-car style diffuser at the rear, complemented by standard black exhaust tips. Buyers can choose between a sunroof and a carbon roof. It is equipped with 19-inch front and 20-inch rear alloy wheels and is available in four new colors: Portimao Blue, Fire Red, Sao Paulo Yellow, and Skyscraper Grey.
Inside, the M2 boasts a flat-bottomed steering wheel with optional Alcantara finish, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14.9-inch infotainment system featuring the latest iDrive system with memory function. Additional features include M seat belts, adaptive LED headlamps, and a BMW connected package.
Performance-wise, the M2 is powered by a Twin-Turbo 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine, delivering 473 bhp and 600 Nm of torque. It offers a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. The top speed is 250 km/h, extendable to 285 km/h with the M driver's package.
