DoD Reports Over 1,600 UAP Cases, 444 Remain Unexplained

In a recent briefing, the Department of Defense's All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) revealed it has received 757 UAP reports from May 1, 2023, to June 1, 2024. Of these, 485 incidents occurred within the reporting period, while 272 were from 2021-2022 but reported later.

This brings the total UAP cases under review to over 1,600 as of June. AARO Director Dr. Jon Kosloski noted that some cases remain puzzling, stating, 'There are interesting cases that I do not understand, and I don't know anybody else who understands them either.'

Out of the new reports, 49 were identified as common objects, while 444 were archived for future investigation due to insufficient data. Notably, 21 cases were flagged for further analysis due to their anomalous characteristics.

Despite these unexplained incidents, AARO stated that there is no evidence of extraterrestrial beings or technology. Patterns in UAP cases often involve unidentified lights and spherical objects. Among the new reports, 81 originated in U.S. military operating areas, with three instances of pilots being trailed by UAP.
