Tesla Inc. has introduced leasing options for its Cybertruck, starting at $999 per month for U.S. consumers. This offer requires an initial payment of $7,500 for a three-year lease on the all-wheel-drive version of the electric pickup.
For those opting for the Cyberbeast model, the monthly payment rises to $1,715 without any down payment, with a lease term of two years.
The starting price for initial versions of the Cybertruck exceeds $100,000, significantly higher than the promised base price of $39,900 by CEO Elon Musk during the prototype unveiling in 2019.
Despite its slower sales compared to the Model Y SUV and Model 3 sedan, Tesla reported that the Cybertruck was the third best-selling electric vehicle in the U.S. last quarter. However, the company has not disclosed specific delivery numbers for the Cybertruck, combining these figures with those of the older Model S sedan and Model X SUV.
