In a recent documentary, viewers were given a glimpse into the life of Gabriel Attal, the former Prime Minister of France, and his beloved dog, Volta. This adorable brown chow-chow became an essential part of Attal's life during his time at Matignon.

Attal adopted Volta shortly after taking office. In the documentary, he shared how he enjoyed playing with her in the gardens of Matignon during his rare moments of downtime. He fondly described their playtime as a 'stuffed toy battle,' highlighting Volta's playful spirit and energy.

Attal named her Volta after the inventor of the electric battery, explaining that her energy often outmatches his own. He humorously admitted that she can even tire him out!

After serving nearly eight months as Prime Minister, Attal left Matignon on September 5. However, he didn't leave alone; Volta accompanied him on this new chapter. The bond between Attal and Volta is evident, as he recently shared heartfelt New Year wishes on Instagram, featuring photos of him cuddling with her.

As they transitioned from Matignon, Attal expressed concern about how Volta would adapt to their new home. Thankfully, experts reassured him that dogs are more attached to their owners than their surroundings. This means Volta would be happier with Attal, even without the beautiful Matignon gardens.
