Viet Nam and China Strengthen Bilateral Ties Through High-Level Exchanges

Politburo member Nguyễn Trọng Nghĩa met with Chinese Ambassador He Wei in Hà Nội to discuss strengthening relations between Viet Nam and China. Nghĩa emphasized that Viet Nam prioritizes its relationship with China as a strategic choice in its foreign policy. He noted positive developments in political and diplomatic relations, highlighting the importance of high-level exchanges and meetings.

Nghĩa recalled visits by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Vietnamese President Tô Lâm, marking milestones in bilateral relations. He expressed hope for increased people-to-people exchanges, stronger ties between political organizations, expanded interactions between border localities, and boosted tourism cooperation.

Ambassador He Wei affirmed the friendship between the two Parties and countries, reinforced through high-level visits and meetings. Nghĩa suggested increasing high-level exchanges and meetings to guide bilateral relations and manage differences, maintaining regional peace and stability. Both sides agreed to enhance the sharing of experiences related to Party building and collaboration between press agencies, effectively implementing cooperation agreements.
