Ukraine is actively responding to ongoing violations of war laws by Russia, according to Andriy Sybiha, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. This comes amid concerns about the effectiveness of a declared three-day ceasefire.
Sybiha reported that Russia has committed 734 ceasefire violations and 63 assault operations. Ukraine is sharing details of these violations with the United States, the European Union, and other international partners.
Concerns remain high regarding potential attacks, including the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) like the Shahed. Andriy Kovalenko from the Center for Countering Disinformation (CPD) has highlighted Russia's increased Shahed drone production and evolving swarm tactics.
Despite the ceasefire announcement made in preparation for the annual Victory Day parade in Moscow, Ukraine reports attacks across the entire front line. Russia accuses Ukraine of violating the ceasefire as well.
Ukraine is also preparing for potential energy infrastructure attacks and blackouts. Efforts are underway to improve energy production capacity and mitigate the impact of attacks.
