Us freezes billions in aid to Harvard over demands

Washington, May 5 - The U.S. Department of Education has frozen billions of dollars in research grants and other aid to Harvard University.

This action was taken on Monday, according to a senior department official. The freeze will remain in effect until Harvard concedes to demands from the Trump administration.

The dispute involves disagreements between the university and the Department of Education.
