Russia Launches Drone Attack on Ukraine, Casualties Reported

On April 27, 2025, Russian forces launched 149 drones against Ukraine. The attack included Shahed drones and replicas to confuse Ukrainian defenses. The drones were launched from Kursk, Briansk, Oriol, and Primorsko-Ajtarsk.

Ukrainian forces reported shooting down 57 drones. However, 67 drones disappeared from radar due to electronic warfare. The attacks resulted in casualties and damage to residential buildings.

A man was killed in Pavlohrad, and a 14-year-old girl was injured. In Odesa, a 35-year-old woman was injured when a drone hit a residential building. Russia claims to have downed Ukrainian drones in Briansk and Crimea.
