On April 12, Ukrainian forces reported repelling a large-scale Russian aerial assault. According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 56 out of 88 drones launched by Russian forces were destroyed overnight. The attacks targeted Kharkiv, Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions. In the Kyiv region, Russian drone attacks damaged private residences and outbuildings in the Boryspil and Bucha districts. According to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, there were no casualties among the population, and no critical infrastructure was hit. Kharkiv also experienced a mass attack, including strikes with guided aerial bombs. According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, four people were injured in the Russian shelling of Kharkiv and the village of Slatyne.
