Turkey Diversifies Crude Oil Imports Amid Sanctions on Russia

Turkey is diversifying its crude oil supply sources, including importing oil from Brazil. This shift follows the decision by Turkey's largest refiner to reduce purchases of Russian oil due to US sanctions. Data indicates that Russian oil accounted for only 19% of Turkey's approximately 650,000 barrels per day of crude imports this month, a significant decrease from over 50% in the previous year.
