US House Republicans Propose Stopgap Funding Bill to Avert Government Shutdown

The U.S. House of Representatives Republicans introduced a six-month stopgap funding bill on March 8. If passed by Congress, the bill would prevent a government shutdown on March 14 and extend current government funding through fiscal year 2025.
