UK to Spearhead Volunteer Coalition for Ukraine Peace, Offers Missile Aid

Edited by: Alla illuny

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Sunday that several countries have expressed interest in joining a UK-led "coalition of volunteers" aimed at preserving peace in Ukraine, contingent upon a ceasefire agreement.

While Starmer refrained from naming the specific countries during a press conference in London, he affirmed the UK's readiness to provide security guarantees, including potential deployment of ground forces and aircraft.

Starmer also revealed a financial aid package to enable Ukraine to purchase over 5,000 air defense missiles. These missiles, manufactured in Belfast, Northern Ireland, are intended to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities and secure peace in the future.
