A significant bushfire near Grampians National Park in western Victoria is advancing northward, with local authorities reporting ongoing challenges due to rising temperatures in the area.
As of December 23, 2024, the fire has consumed approximately 41,000 hectares. Residents who evacuated from towns such as Halls Gap have been advised that it remains unsafe to return to their homes.
