Today, on 4 October 2026, general elections are being held in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The country's citizens are electing three members of the Presidency and 42 deputies of the House of Representatives.
At the same time, in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 98 deputies of the regional parliament are being elected. In Republika Srpska, voters are casting their ballots for the president and 83 deputies of the local legislative body.
These elections reflect the complex structure of the state, where different levels of authority are intertwined with ethnic and regional interests. How will the outcome of the vote affect the country's future?
