The country aims to develop its hydropower potential, estimated at 27,000 MW, with only 1% currently developed.
A 50 MW solar photovoltaic plant near Brazzaville, developed by AMEA Power, is planned to break ground in late 2025.
Wing Wah, a Chinese energy company, is developing a gas monetization project to generate 400 MW of electricity, with 200 MW for the national grid.
