Morocco's Saray Immo Partners with Empower New Energy for 5.8 MW Solar Project, Advancing Renewable Energy in North Africa

On March 2, Saray Immo in Morocco partnered with Norway's Empower New Energy for a 12-year solar energy agreement. The $3.5 million investment will finance, construct, and operate two solar plants with a combined capacity of 5.8 MWp on Saray Immo's buildings and Tanakoo's production site in Berrechid, Casablanca. The solar installation will cover approximately 49,000 square meters of rooftop space. The project is projected to produce about 9,600 MWh of clean electricity annually, reducing operational energy costs. Empower New Energy is also involved in solar projects in Tunisia, Egypt, Kenya, and Nigeria.
